I saw the movie Expelled the other day, and it pissed me off right hard.
Luckily this has improved my mood.

"Ben Stein may not be the best person to single-handedly represent the ID side. As you're aware, he's known mainly as an entertainer." Is that what we're calling writing speeches for Richard Nixon these days?
That was fantstic, thank you. I haven't seen the movie but I loved that letter. I wish that guy had been at my house last night when I was explaining to Jim Bob Duggar about the genetic relationship between man and apes (yes, I hate myself ergo I was watching 17 kids and counting).
Is that a show? I don't have a TV but I think you just made me want one.
As for Ben Stein, he's known as an entertainer, but for years he was an economist. Neither of those things, however, makes him qualified to talk about biology.
In other news, if he had said "Bueller" just ONCE in that movie it would have made everything OK.
I know, I just like to fit in a Nixon joke whenever I can. My husband gave "Voodoo Economics" as an answer to a Jeopardy questions the other night, funny stuff.
Do you know the Duggars? I think they live in Arkansas and they actually have 18 kids now, all the kids' names start with J (including my fave, Jinger). As far I can tell get by on corporate handouts and exploiting their children by putting them on tv. The show is on right before Toddlers and Tiaras - a show that actually makes my soul hurt.
Holy shit. I need cable.
